Prosperity Works will partner with Tax Help New Mexico to offer free assistance in preparing and filing income tax returns for New Mexico residents who:
- have participated OR are currently participating in the IDA program
- have an annual household income of less than $50,270
- meet the qualifications for help

PW will offer appointment times! This is a great opportunity for IDA participants. Some restrictions may apply. For participants outside of the Albuquerque area, we will offer assistance via Skype in addition to setting up dates with individual sites.
Additional $ for IDA Savers!
The majority of IDA participants are eligible for the EITC, the earned income tax credit, a benefit for certain people who work and have low to moderate wages. A tax credit means more money in their pocket & can be claimed for the previous 3 years. It reduces the amount of taxes owed and may also give a refund.
